NEW WHILE IT'S HOT! FANTASY-NEWS the science fiction weekly newspaper. PRICE: THREE ISSUES TEN CENTS. VOLUME 5, NUMBER 10 SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 1940 WHOLE NUMBER 115 OHIO FANTASY ASSOCIATION FORMED!!! A new regional s.t.f.club has just been organized in Ohio. The name of the new organization is The Ohio Fantasy Association. An official publication titled "The Ohio Fan" has seen its initial issue. Dated Sep 17, Vol. 1, no.1, has four small sized mim oed pages, cover in two colors, containing the club's constitution. Coming with it are a letter from Joseph M. Lewandowski, Editor-in-Chief, and an application blank. Officers of the Association must be at least 17 years old because "a fairly mature mind is necessary to cope with the duties of the Ass'n. The OFA wishes to attract the adult fantasy readers to its membership as well as the younger readers, and an officer must be one whose mine has developed sufficiently for him to be able to meet adults on almost the same intelligence leve."
