sun Apri 3 A gloomy day no sunshine we have been home all day no church or sunday school on account of the roads being so bad they are just awful bad so muddy Mon Apri 4 this has been a bad day rained thundred & lightned & wind blew a gale all day Wallace & Lena went to Elgin the roads are just awful such bad places in the roads have planked them in some places Tues Apri 5 A nice day pretty windy not cold Lena washed Wallace went to Wadena this afternoon a dog hurt some of our sheep Ella rode Bill to school today Grace Foxwell called this morning to send a pacage with Ella Henry Winger called we had a young lamb this morning
