Fri Aug 12 A fine day we had our community day today a good crowd & a good time made 90 dollars at the play sat Aug 13 A nice day I slept a lot today the men finished thrashing for Arthur Kellie today W L went to West Union this eve after a tire he took up there to be fixed sun Aug 14 A fine day was home coming at the church had a good crowde & a good time Aulden went back to his work this afternoon Frank Commings & family Lois Fishback was here to dinner Mon Aug 15 A nice day we wimen was alone today the men thrashed at Rob Ernst Lena washed I made 5 glasses of blackberry jelly
