over to the church to help pitch the tent I think it will be a rest muddy time tomorrow Lena is making herself a dress Fri Aug 3 we had rain this fornoon & has rained stedy since 5 Pm this was community day & a very wet offer the folks has just gone back to the church they was to give the play no one is fool enough to go out such a night I have been alone all day & I expect to be alone a good share of the night sat Aug 4 A nice day cleared off Wallace was at West Union him & C H Midberry they went to Fayette this afternoon with jack & is Shaffer
