14 FAN FANTASY COMMENT BY R.A. LEADABRAND A.L. Zagat's new yarn, 7 OUT OF TIME will begin in the March-11th Argosy. The Feb 25th issue ran a usual Williamson tale, NON-STOP TO MARS. This latter being a story of a guy that flew to Mars in an aeroplane!!......The current Marth 4th issue of Argosy stars a story THE MAN NEXT DOOR, a story of dual-personality, and death, by Paul Ernst......THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME is being prepared for refilming. Either Orson Welles or Robert Morley will take the part of the hunchback......What with SCIENCE FICTION, the newest of the hack stfals, stf, is sinking even more rapidly than one would think possible. Another yarn that has yet to be movieĆzed that would, or better, could be a rousing success, is Van Lorne's STRANGE CITY......Several of the more mediocre pulps of the adventure vein have ran stories---very poor ones, I assure you,---of the future. Perhaps, reader, knowledge of this is yours......The april ADVENTURE NOVELS--companion magazine to the new stf hack magazine SCIENCE FICTION--features a novel by one Syl Mac Donald THE SKIES OF 1945. The blurb reads: "dram
