In The Damn Thing you'll find what you're looking for in case you've searched in vain for the other side of Van Houten's Pro-Scientist idea; it's Damon Knight's "Assailing the Pro-Scientists",  I don't agree on most of his points but
some are worthv of notice... Fred W Fischer's two articles  "Salvaged Souvenir's" and "Let*s De-Louse Scientifiction", stand out in the
latest Fantascience Digest. Every sensible fan will agree with the latter article,  and if you liked Fischer's column in Golden Atom, you'll not want to miss the former... Frontier's    3rd issue should end the "weighty" criticism that
somehow tagged it for a while, I recommend "Pow-Wow" by Hazel I Shull, Paul Kingbiel's book review, and the departments as a relief from the usual run of fan stuff
that gets nowhere. HW
