PROFILE PREVIEWS An event planned especially for you, a new undergraduate coed at SUI, is Profile Previews, the annual fashion show sponsored by AWS. Every freshman and transfer woman is invited to try out for the show, so be sure to watch for announcements concerning the preliminaries. In the show itself, approximately ninety coeds model the latest in sportswear, campus wear, suits, coats, dressy dresses, and cocktail wear, all from their own wardrobes. If you've never modeled before, you'll love this new experience; the Profile Previews Styles Committee will give modeling tips to all the women chosen to model in the show. A panel of fashion experts judges the models in the show and selects one coed as Miss Perfect Profile and two other student models as her attendants. Applications for the tryouts will be available early in the fall, so start looking through your closet for just the right outfit to wear. CODE FOR COEDS You've already heard about another phase of AWS work-Code for Coeds. By means of this booklet, AWS wants to welcome you and help you prepare for the big step into college life at SUI. We hope that you will find here the answers to the questions that inevitably enter your mind as you embark upon a new experience. We also hope that after you have adjusted to the melody of your everyday life at SUI, you will want to harmonize a little and branch out into campus activities. This booklet may prove a handy reference as you seek outlets for your interests and abilities. There's a place waiting for you at SUI-we hope Code for Coeds will aid you in filling it. 28
