Acting as the governing body of all U of I women students and serving judicial, service, and social purposes, the scope of AWS activities is sure to include something of interest to you. AWS executive officers are elected during all-campus elections by the women students of the University. The officers for 1966-67 are led by Kathy Buresh as president, and guided by Miss Helen E. Focht, Counselor to Women. Janie Garner is the current vice-president, Judy Beese is secretary, and Linda Marsh serves as treasurer. AWS General Council includes the chairmen of the various areas, and an executive secretary.
