Stage Tactics Social life is an important part of your education at SUI. No matter where you go, just automatically impress people with the natural "you." What your Mom so patiently taught you years ago about being a lady still holds true at SUI. Just use your everyday social finesse to remember what's proper at the right time, and you'll be correct in whatever you do. As far as getting the most from college is concerned, it certainly doesn't matter if you belong to a sorority or not. Independent and affiliated women equally share campus honors. Good tlmes are ahead. Take a deep breath, sum up all your energy, and plunge into the whirl of a star performance on SUI's stage. Some of an actress' most satisfying moments must come on opening night when she first fulfills the part of her character before a live audience. Your most enriching moments come throughout your entire college life as you develop lasting friendships. Plan your free hours just as you do your study hours. As an SUI coed, set your goal and aim at it. Maybe you'll want to be an activities girl, when the studying is finished. On the other hand, your aim might be graduating "summa cum laude," and you'll really enjoy working for such an honor. Whatever you prefer, do have a goal; it's fun and ego-boosting, too, even though the competition is bound to be rugged. 9
