Make Your Reservations Your reservations for travel entail much more than the early payments and signature on a dotted line. Any tourist or travelng businessman will agree that a great many plans and objectives must be made before departure. The execution of tasks leading to these goals are then fulfilled along the route. Certain things are given special attention while others pass by the wayside. Nobody can see and do everything on a trip in a limited time. But one can attempt to make a representative cover of the more interesting sights. By getting the most from these selected spots, a trip becomes more profitable. Before you come to college, and while you're here, it's wise to set worthwhile goals for yourself. Your interests may lie in any number of academic fields and extracurricular activities. The associations you make with these should in some way benefit you as well as those with whom you work. Every phase of campus life contributes to your education, and it is your choice of the opportunities here at SUI that will largely determine the channel of work or interest you'll pursue in later life. Choose carefully then, in the hope of becoming a better informed, well-rounded person. Remember it's the same old "you" who has come to college. Act natural and enjoy the wholesome fun that means the most. College is a big step for you to make, but you'll soon realize that life really isn't so different now than before. Bring along your same lady-like manners and proper conduct from home; they'll fit in well here at SUI. All in all, your visit to the State University of Iowa looks like bright lights on the horizon.
