Code of Student Life, which you will find in your dormitory room upon arrival. The Central Judiciary Board, whose chairman is a member of the AWS General Council, formulates and administers these policies under the auspices of the University Administration. Its membership includes representatives from the women's dormitories, the Panhellenic Association, and the town area. PROFILE PREVIEWS One event you'll be hearing a lot about in the first few weeks of school will Profile Previews, the annual fashion show sponsored by AWS. Every new woman on campus is invited to try out for the show, so be sure to watch for announcements concerning the preliminaries. In the final round of competition approximately ninety girls will model the styles in sportswear, campuswear, suits, coats, dressy dresses, and cocktail wear which will be in the fashion limelight this fall and winter at SUI. Son't hesitate about appearing just because you lack previous modeling experience. The Profile Preview Styles Committee will give modeling tips to all those girls selected to model in the show. A panel composed of fashion experts from all over Iowa judges each girl. The climax of the evening comes when the panel selects one new coed as Miss Perfect Profile, and two other models as attendants. Applications for the tryouts will be available early in the fall. FOREIGN STUDENTS [hand drawing to right] Yearning for some truly Chinese food? Or how about a Swedish Smorgasbord? Well, even these exotic preparations may be enjoyed here at SUI thanks to AWS and its Foreign Student Committee. Stressing fellowship and the making of new friends this group works hand in hand with our overseas students, who number about 200 and are representatives of some fifty different nations. The Foreign Student Committee assumes sponsorship of a series of dinners held at the International Center and prepared by students of a specific country or region. Its members also assist in preparations whenever possible - whether it be peeling potatoes, washing dishes or clearing tables. Needless to say, in this informal atmos- 25
