8.6 3. Where two or more persons are taking the same trip at University expense. List the names of such passengers. 4. Where it is necessary to transport delicate instruments or excessively bulky material not readily adapted to common carrier transportation. If none of these conditions are met, transportation reimbursement is limited to round -trip, tax-exempt plane fare exclusive of first class jet fare, and motel or hotel and meal charges en route are not allowable. Any person driving a privately owned automobile on University business does so at his own choice and risk and is personally responsible for all costs of operation, including repairs to the automobile or for public liability and property damage. Use of Personal Airplane Any person authorized to travel at University expense may use his personal airplane. Mileage reimbursement at the rate of 12c per highway mile will be allowed where one of the following conditions is met: 1. Where there in no adequate common carrier between the points of travel. 2. Where there is justifiable saving of time. 3. Where two or more persons are taking the same trip at University expense. List the names of such passengers. Issued 10-4-63
