In addition to student support, there would be a number of other costs, the most important of which would be the costs of the recruiter (including travel, printing, etc.) a counsellor and a secretary. These would run in the neighborhood of $30-32,000 for the first year and £40-45,000 when the program was fully effective, assuming that a second counsellor has been added by then. Students' tutors might cost $15-20,000 per year, perhaps somewhat less if the work study program were utilized. In addition, additional instructors would have to be hired for the remedial sections.
