[ ] Iowa City, Iowa, furnished the following information on May 7, 1969:

UI official are proposing a raise in tuition next year inasmuch as the state legislature did not appropriate the amount requested in the University budget. Student organizations on the campus including fraternities and sororities have banned together opposing this tuition raise and on May 6, 1969, many students boycotted classes at UI. In a meeting held late on May 6, 1969, students voted to continue the boycott of classes through May 8, 1969, and to begin peaceful picketing of classrooms about 10:00 a.m., May 7, 1969.

[ ] stated [  ] anticipates no difficulties would arise from this picketing. 

[ ] Iowa City, Iowa, subsequently advised on May 7, 1969, that small groups consisting of two or three students appeared at various locations on the campus approximately 10:00 a.m., May 7, 1969, carrying placards protesting the raise in tuition and urging students to boycott classes [ ] stated that as of 10:00 a.m., May 7, 1969, more than 75 percent of the students at UI were attending classes and it appears that this boycott is a failure. [ ] stated that there have been no incidents in connection with the above mentioned picketing and no arrests have been made.
