Cleveland, Ohio. Sept. 23, '07. N. S. Hastings. SHIELDS & TRODGERS. Full stage, two men, Fancy roping, Loop ties, and lariet throwing. This act opens in theconventinal manner of lasso throwing, and for a while looks doubtful. It braces up greatly toward the end, when applause becomes frequent. Finishes strong. 11 Min. KATHERINE Dahl. In one. 9 min. Good looking woman, pleasing presence, tasti-ly gowned. Voice only fair. Repertoire varied from the popular to the classical. She tried the man in the box stunt, and old as it is, it certainly made a great hit Monday afternoon. She was recalled for one enchore, lasting five minutes. SMIRL & KESSNER. Man and woman. 12 minutes. Presenting "The Bell Boy and the Maid". C.D.F. Harry Smirl does some excellent tumbling and dancing. Rose Kessner has a good spot light dance, and her comedy is great. This act took two enchores and made more than good. THOS. J. RYAN RICH FIELD CO. 24 minutes. Interior parlor set. Presenting"Mag Haggerty's Reception." Mr. Ryan andMiss RIchfield have always been extremely popular and their present comedy affords them ample opportunity for their good work. Monday afternoon the audience was in one continual roar from start to finish. The funny situation are original and get over the footlights in great shape. The lines of the dialogue are very funny. THOSE FOUR GIRLS. 12 minutes. Open in two close in one. Good lookers, sing and dance well, several changes of costume.
