Report on Columbus Show, Week Oct. 14th. -- 07. W. W. Prosser. MAX DUFFEK[?]: European Musical Contortionist: A very ordinary contortionist who plays musical instruments to during his stunts, and plays them badly. -- The act got by sad that is about all. 9 minutes. C. D. F. ELSIE FAYE & Boys: Miss faye worked with one boy, the other being ill. -- A conventional singing and dancing act with the accent on the dancing, the singing amounting to little. -- Another set that just got through sad that is all. 13 minutes in one. THE KRATONS: Man and woman ( Colored) in a hoop act called " Hoopland" A very good act of its kind especially the early part of [[?]]. -- The last [[?]]. -- The work is all very good but nothing startling and to my way of thinking the finish is weak. -- The act went very nicely however and was far from a front. -- They deserve credit for getting by at all, this town being the home of Everhart and The Young Bros. -- People here think that no one can roll hoops with these boys. " MOTORING" -- Well known comedy act and one tht won many laughs. The hit was quite a hit and made good thoroughly. Landscape in 2. CAMERON & FLANAGAN: Two men: " On & Off." -- An overly " touted" act. -- Nothing very much out of the ordinary about it. -- They went fairly well. -- Open is one as a blackface team. -- Finish with scene in dressing room showing them taking off makeup and engaged in " crossfire" talk that scores once in a while. -- Another act with the wrong idea of a finish. Instead of making an exit upstage they should get around in One again and do something. 17 minutes. GOTHON FOUR: Comedy quartet. -- Won quite a number of laughs and sing fairly well. -- Their makeup and manner proclaims them to be of the calibre one usually sees with a burlesque show. -- We have a quartet of this style at the Gayety here almost every week. -- not the quartet for this house. PICHIANI TROUPE: Foreign acrobatic act. -- Five women, three men. A very good act and one that went excellently. -- Their work is all good and it is fast, no time being lost in "four flushing." Garden - 9 minutes. PICTURES: The Express Skulptor: A Glorious start: Angling in Norway. O.K.
