(Carl D. Lothrop) Boston Show, Week of Oct. 28, 1907. (Monday Oct. 28--Afternoon Show.) Overture. 1.32, 9 min. Musical Craigs. On at 1.41, 13 min, full stage, can close in 1, if necessary. 3 shows. One of the best 3-show acts we play. I do not see how they could possibly fall down in an early spot on any bill. Delmore and Oneida. On at 1.54, 13 min, in 1, 3 shows. Well known perch act. Another extremely valuable 3-show act. Can give a good account of themselves in a much later place. Asra. On at 2.07, 9 min, full stage. One of the most novel of juggling acts. Another act that could go much further down the bill. A. O. Duncan. On at 2.16, 18 min full stage, 3 min close in 1, 21 min in all. Scored his usual hit here today. One of the most popular entertainers that visit this house. Gillett's Four-Footed Actors. On at 2.37, 9 min, full stage. Act worked a little ragged today, but there is no question about its being a big hit when it runs smoothly. I think the act contains more laughs than Barnold's. Harry Brown. On at 2.46. 13 min, in 1. His first appearance in this country since his return from England. Scored heavily in this place. He always goes big in Boston, and at his salary is one of the best "buys" we make. "The Song Birds". On at 3.01, 29 min, full stage. Second week of their engagement. This act has proven one of the biggest features that has over played this house, and has created a lot of very favorable comment. I still think, however, it would be an improvement in the act if there could be at least two more ensemble numbers, so as to get full value out of such a, for vaudeville, extraordinary body of singers. I am very glad we have them the second week. Winsor McCay. On at 3.30, 21 min, in 1. He certainly pleases Boston audiences. Unquestionably the greatest in his line. Pat Rooney and Marion Bent. On at 3.51, 17 min full stage, 4 min close in 1; 21 min in all. Scored their customary hit. Are always welcome here. Will Cressy and Blanche Dayne. On at 4.12, 24 min, full stage. Playing "The Wyoming Whoop". They will surely leave a large void with our patrons when they go starring. One of the few sketch teams that can be depended upon to close a show acceptably.
