125. CRITICISM KEITH & PROCTOR'S 125TH STREET THEATRE DECEMBER 16, 1907. WORPERT TRIO European acrobats. A trio of really remarkable acrobats and balancers. Some of their work is very cleverly executed. All of their various tricks were applauded and their finish went exceptionally strong. 9 Minutes, Full Stage. CLARENCE SISTERS Singers and dancers. This act would be all right in a continuous house about second or third. Their voices are off color and the costumes decidedly of a burlesque order. The dancing is fairly good and seemed to please. 10 Minutes in one. HARRY [CORSON?] CLARK & CO. In the comedy "strategy". This is anot a bad act by any means although decidedly overpaid. The comedy is rather talky and longdrawnout although it is interesting and holds the audience. They secured quite a number of laughs but closed poorly. 21 Minutes Full Stage. MC CARTE'S MONKEYS Presume the monkeys were sick today as they worked very badly. The sleigh bells and Barber shop looks like a copy from Galletti. The general pranks of the animals pleased. All the bad features of the act were elliminated when the monkey rode the bicycle to the satisfaction of the crowd which is a remarkable stunt. 9 Minutes full stage. WILL ROGERS "The Lasso King". This man's act remains the same as before. He did not go as well as on other occasions. Presume they are getting tired. 11 Minutes Full Stage. THE TWIN BROTHER'S JOKE Fair Comedy THE SHORT SIGHTED SPORTSMAN Good Comedy THE PIKER'S DREAM Fairly Good Comedy
