MANSEN & THOMAS - Singing and dancing act. 10 minutes, olio in one.
A good act for the three a day section.
MARZELLA & WOOLFE Comedy bar and burlesque wrestling 15 minutes, full stage, wood.
Very good for the three a day.
JESS LASKY's STUNNING GRENADIERS - 19 minutes, special.
A very bad act. If they were getting half the money they are now getting I would feel they are being over paid. The act does not compare, in any way, with their first appearance here.
COLLINS & BROWN - German comedians. 15 minutes in one.
Personally, I don not think this act is good but they seem to go very well with the audience and I guess that is all that is necessary.
GREAT SCOTT - 10 minutes, full stage. Juggling act on balancing ladder.
A very good act.
ITALIAN TRIO - 10 minutes, olio in one.
This act just about got by. We have played them too often and I am sure I do not want them again.
ARMSTRONG & CLARK - 21 minutes, interior. Closing in one 3 min.
Two young men, one playing black face, the other white, singing, dancing and piano playing. One of the best acts of the kind we play.
TACIANU - Female impersonator. 12 min. olio in one.
Tacianu does not compare favorably with Eltinge. However he sings very well but lacks the style of Eltinge.
EMIL HOCH & CO. - A farce - "Love's Young Dream". 18 minutes, interior.
While this act could not be considered a very strong act, yet it pleases but I would not care to play it a return.
METZETTI TROUPE - Palace, full stage, 10 minutes.
This act has received some great criticism but aside from the work of the boy, dressed as a girl, i consider the act a very ordinary one and would not play it a return at price we are now paying them.
JULIUS TANNIN - Monologue. 12 minutes, olio.
Doing better than he has ever done for us before.
