Temple Detroit. Dec. 2, 1907. WILLS & HASSAN. Good equilibrist act, particularly for this position on the bill. 11 min. FS. REIDY & CURRIER. Man and woman in straight singing act. Both have trained voices but still it is only a fair turn for vaudeville. 10 in one. ALFRED KELCY & FLORENCE GUISE. Presenting "A Tale of a Turkey." This is an exceptionally clever sketch adapted from a story by O. Henry. Mr. Kelcy is a clever comedian while Miss Guise succeeds fairly well in her part. The act was received very warmly. 25 min. FS. ARTIE HALL. Went better than ever before and was one of the hits of the bill. 18 min. in one. MASTER GABRIEL & CO. Repeated the great hit of last season, and gave the very same act, with the same cast. 20 min. FS. JOE WELCH. While Welch made good it is a crying shame to pay him the amount he is getting while there are many better monologists at half the salary. 16 min. in one. THE MILITARY OCTETTE. It is unnecessary to comment on this act suffice it to say that it is up to the high standard of the original production and makes a fine flash. 21 min. FS. 3 min. in one. THE MARCO TWINS. While this act gets many laughs it gets close to the limit of low comedy and may offend the refined portion of our audiences. 8 min. FS. KINETOGRAPH. Our battleships in practice are quite inspiring. 148.
