247 247 CRITICISM KEITH & PROCTOR'S 125TH STREET THEATRE March 2 1908 WORMWOOD'S CIRCUS After this act is in working order I presume it will develope into an excellent novelty. The circus includes bears, dogs and monkeys. They are thoroughly trained and some of the tricks are marvelous. Twenty Minutes Full Stage. J. WARREN KEANE Compelled to have this man open in one, then full stage, and close in one, which I suppose disorganized his routine, However, his act seemed to be interesting. His work is the regular routine mater of acts of this kind. Received some scattered applause with a fairly good hand on the finish. Eighteen Minutes in all. AL LEECH & CO. Expected really more form this man on account of previous criticism. He opened rather tame with the laughs scattered and finished rather quiet. Just about got by in this place. Full Stage. Close in one about three minutes, Twenty-four Minutes in all. EUGENIE FOUCHERE The audience did not seem to enthuse over the first few songs of this lady. The flower song brought the first few giggle and she received some pretty fair applause from there on. Nineteen Minutes, open Full Stage and close in One. applause. Greatly improved Applause hit of the show. Five genuine curtain calls. Twenty-four minutes Full Stage. JAMES THORTON "Sane, Sound and Sober". Big hit. Twenty minutes in One. WILTON BROTHERS Comedy bar act. Went fully as strong as before. Excellent closing act. Seven Minutes Full Stage. KINETOGRAPH "A fight for Love" Fair
