248 248. N. S. Hastings, Cleveland, Ohio. Mar. 2, '08. JUNO SALMO F.S. Special. Time 10. Opens with electrical effects. Without doubt, the greatest contortionistic feature ever appearing here. Salmo works easily and does some wonderful twisting, with ease and without the customary grewsome effects. Much applause. LEON ROGEE In one. 10. Hungarian imitator and whistler. Rogee first plays an instrument, and then follows with a perfect imitation. This is a decided novelty and went big Monday afternoon. He finishes with a remarkable whistling stunt. WALTER SCHRODE & LIZZIE MULVEY Time 13. C.D.F.A. great dancing and comedy act. Singing poor. After a rather ordinary first part, they warm up and finish with a knockout rough and tumble dance. A big hit at the close. CHARLES KENNA I One. 20. Presenting "The Street Fakir". With a suit case, table and circus gasoline lamp for "props", Kenna gives a great impersonation of the familiar figure of the street fakir. The people howled Monday afternoon. JULIUS STEGER &CO. 3 men, 1 woman. Time 24. Presenting "The Fifth Commandment." A forceful sketch, well acted. The introduction of the harp playing and Mr. Steger's singing as part of the plat fits in well and adds a novel interest. One of the biggest hits of the weeks. BESSIE WYNN I one. Time 18. Charming girl, delightful manner, with a sweet voice. Her songs are attractively acted out. Her dancing is very graceful and for the most part original. THE WATERMELON TRUST F.S. Palace, close in 1. - 2 men, 3 women (colored.) Time 27. This is a great singing, dancing and talking act. The comedy is a knockout for the most part, marred with one or two pretty raw touches. HOUDINI Time indefinite. F.S. The act is well known. It takes well here, but does not reach the sensational popularity it has received in other cities. Houdini has several new tests, although for the most part he still depends chiefly upon had-cuffs and straight jackets. THE KINETOGRAPH
