BOSTON KEITH'S Sept. 1, 9 Kinograms:-Contains some interesting subjects, but others are rather tame for a vaudeville audience. Topics of the Day are very good. Dancing Kennedys:-6 min. F.S. Boy and girl in a neat act made a very good opener. Melnotte & Leedom:-19 min. in 1. These girls moved from number five spot, went over fairly well. Diane & Rubini:-23 min. F. S. Nicely arranged musical offering and went over well. Duval & Symonds:-13 min. in 1. There is quite a little comedy in this act and filled this spot nicely. George Jessell:-22 min. in 1. This boy has a great personality and some very good material. Closed to a big hand. "Kiss Me":-43 min. F.S. Spec. This act is very beautifully staged and costumed, has some good comedy situations that are handled well, but girl acts of this style do not seem to go in this house. Closed to a fair hand. Ryan & Healy:-15 min. in 1. Two boys in harmony singing, held this spot nicely. Rinaldo Brothers:-7 min. F.S. Spec. Artistic posing act did very well closing. CUTS:- Melnotte & Leedom: Please wear fleshing in your act, eliminate "lawn mower" gag, "a girl scared to death" gag, "one hand on the wheel" and "too far to fall for any man" gags. Ryan & Healy: Please eliminate "Harem" song from your act, also the word "Bushwa". "Kiss Me":- Please eliminate the word "hell," "damn", line in reference to "key to our flat", and expression "I know what you mean". George Jessell:- Please eliminate the line "cat had kittens", reference to Scollay Sq. Theatre, "poor get children", and addressing individual in the audience. Duval & Symonds:- Please eliminate the word "damned" from your act.
