BOSTON KEITH'S Oct. 6, 9 Kinograms:-Interesting and varied subjects. Topics of the Day:-Good. Helene Jackley:-6 min. F.S. Novelty ladder perch act made a fair opener. Raymond & Schram:-16 min. in one. These boys have a good routine of songs and went over nicely in this spot. James Leonard & Co.:-14 min. F.S. Spec. This well know travesty got plenty of laughs and closed to a good hand. Luba Meroff & Co.-16 min. in 1-1/2 Spec. Prettily staged singing and dancing act, two women and boy, went well. Cressy & Dayne:-25 min. F.S. A new sketch called "The New Store" got quite a few laughs, but not as good as many of his other offerings. Sabine & Goodwin:-23 min. in 1 and 2. Two men in a comedy singing, talking and musical offering, with a "plant" in the orchestra. Seemed to please and closed to a fair hand. Emma Carus:-21 min. F.S. Miss Carus got a nice reception and went over well. Will Cressy:-19 min. in one. Mr. Cressy's monologue on his experience with the A.E.F. in France was a real treat and went over very big. The Bricklayers:-11 min. F.S. Spec. This is certainly a novel dog act, but had a hard time closing the show CUTS:-James Leonard & Co.:- Please eliminate the word "bushwa", "you nasty old thing", and the line in regard to "Home Guards". Emma Carus:- Please eliminate the gag in reference to Colnel doing janitor service. Owing to the unrest of labor at the present time it is well not to stir them up with these sort of stories.
