BOSTON KEITH'S Nov. 3, 9 Kinograms & Topics of the Day:-Good. The Hughes Duo:-12 min. in 1. Man and woman, musical act playing violin, piano and saxaphone, opened the show fairly well. Masters & Kraft:-14 min. in 1. These boys have a novel dance offering and went over very well. "On the Ragged Edge":-14 min. F.S. Spec. This sketch, in rhyme, is well handled but went only fair. Jack Allman & Maretta Nally:-21 min. in 1. Allman's girl partner is very pleasing, and her songs and talk went over very well. William Gaxton & Co.:-21 min. F.S. This is a good company and Mr. Gaxton certainly does fine work in this sketch. Closed to a big hand. Nitta-Jo:-20 min. in 2 Spec. Nitta-Jo got quite a nice reception and went over well, but not quite as big as on her previous visit here. Carlos Sebastian & Co.:-19 min. F.S. Spec. A very prettily staged dancing act that seemed to please, and closed to a good hand. Phil Baker:-23 min. in 1. Great personality, plays a piano accordion exceptionally well, and with the assistance of a plant, held this spot in good shape. Page, Mack & Mack:-10 min. F.S. An exceptional hand balancing act that held the audience fairly well. CUTS:- Masters & Kraft: Please modify "shimmy" and eliminate "dirty name" gag. Phil Baker:- Please eliminate "confidence" gag, reference to other attractions in town, "fill our boys with ambition" gag. There is a City ordinance prohibiting your man working in the box, it therefore becomes necessary to use him on the stage if at all. "On the Ragged Edge: Please substitute something to take the place of "Oh Hell" expression. Allman & Nelly:- Please eliminate "You'd be surprised" song, also reference to "chasing rainbows", and "I'm not that kind of a girl".
