BOSTON KEITH'S Dec. 22, 9 Kinograms:-Fair. Topics of the Day:-Good. The Silverlakes:-5 min. F.S. Man and woman in a fast aerial offering, made a nice opener. Frank Gaby:-18 min. in 1. A little early on the bill and went over very well. The Gaudsmidts:-12 min. in 2. These boys, with the assistance of their two Spanish poodles, went over very well. Wish Wynne:-17 min. in 1, and 2. Seemed to please, particularly her last number. Closed to a fair hand. Yates & Reed:-16 min. in 1. Went over well in this spot. Navassar Girls:-17 min. in 3 Spec. This act makes quite a flash on opening, but proved rather tame until the finishing number, which took them off to a good hand. McCart & Bradford:-23 min. in 1 and 3. Good comedy sketch, well handled, and closed to a good hand. Frank Hurst:-15 min. in 1. This was a pretty difficult spot for Hurst, and he seemed to get very little during his act, but closed to a pretty nice hand. Reynolds & Donegan:-13 min. F.S. Spec. An elaborate roller skating act nicely staged, and held the audience very well closing. REMARKS:- We moved Yates & Reed in order to avoid the confliction of the drunk characters. We gave our annual Christmas pantimime in the afternoon and judging from the attendance it will be a bigger success than ever. CUTS: Yates & Reed: Please eliminate "Democratic principles" gag, the word "Dirt", and "weekly payment" gag with orchestra leader. McCart & Bradford: Please eliminate the "Policeman" gag chiefly on account of our recent trouble here with the local force. Frank Hurst: Please eliminate the "Cant I see the baby" gag, and if possible substitute a number for your "Pal like You" song as it is used earlier in the show.
