BOSTON KEITH'S Feb. 9, 20 Kinograms & Topics of the Day:-Interesting and amusing. Jack Daly & Hazel Berlow:-8 min. F.S. Nice routine of whirlwind dancing working up to a good hand at finish. Frank Parish & Steven Peru:-10 min. in one. Novelty and acrobatic dancing using barrels and other paraphernalia. Went well. Hugh Herbert:-25 min. in 3. Spec. Mr. Herbert and company in his sketch "Mind Your Business" has a good Hebrew comedy vehicle, getting plenty of laughs and closed to a good hand. Jay Dillon & Betty Parker:-16 min. in 1 and 1-1/2 Spec. This nice appearing couple have a neat routine of comedy talk, songs and a little dancing. A trifle slow in action, but held spot nicely. Anna Held, Jr.:-23 min. F.S. Spec. Assisted by Emmet Gilfoyle in bits of musical comedy songs and patter. Miss Held has a number of beautiful costumes, and all the numbers were well received. Wilkie Bard:-40 min. in one and F.S. Spec. Mr. Bard in his two characterizations, "The Scrubwoman" and "The Night Watchman", is an artist in every sense of the word. Every bit of his work was appreciated as was demonstrated by the hearty laughter throughout his act and the big applause at the finish. Bard is a strong attraction and should do business. Joe Cook:-16 min. in one Mr. Cook has a hard position following Wilkie Bard but held them well at the evening show; got lots of laughs and closed well. The Naces:-7 min. F.S. Spec. Two women and one man in a novelty act using ice skates on an artificial preparation. Makes nice closing act.
