Providence Albee February 23 20. We have an exceptionally good bill this week and there is no reason why it should not do good business. WHEELER BROS. Three men in a fast acrobatic act, interspersed with a little comedy. A good act. 6 minutes, F.S. STANLEY & BIRNES Two young fellows in an act of singing and eccentric dancing, similar to the kind that has held this same spot for several weeks past. While their act is good, the same sort of thing, week after week, proves a little monotonous. 9 Min. in One. DAVIGNEAU'S CELESTIALS Two Chinamen and a Chinese woman in a decidedly American act of singing, dancing and piano playing. The novelty of Chinamen doing this work gets the act over, in good style. 14 Min. F. S. DOROTHY BRENNER In the same act she has given us on two previous occasions, suffering from too much repetition - 12 Min. in One. THE FALL OF EVE A very bright little sketch, well staged and well acted and well received. 17 Min. F.S. SENOR FRISCOE Xylophonist - with the adjunct of an Edison Phonograph. While I do not consider this man as good a player as some of the others I have had, his comedy stuff with the audience make him a very big hit. It would seem to me, however, that if we are lending our stage to such palpable advertising schemes as this is for the Edison Phonograph Company, we ought to be well paid for it. The act ran 21 Min. in One. STONE & KALISZ These people are giving us something entirely different from their former offering. Instead of a sketch, they have strung together a number of songs presented in a most effective manner in the way of scenery and lights and make probably the best impression of anything they have ever done. A decidedly artistic offering. 22 Min. F.S. FRANCES KENNEDY Miss Kennedy scored her usual big hit but I would want to see more new material in her act before playing her again. 20 Min. in One. RUBEVILLE This well known act closed the show satisfactorily. Held the audience in fine shape. 28 min. F. S. CUTS: Frances Kennedy. Cut suggestion of "What the H --". "My God". Thumbing of Nose. Rubeville Cut "I like my liquor strong and women wild". Thumbing of nose.
