BOSTON KEITH'S Feb. 16, 20 Kinograms & Topics of the Day:- The Kinograms are not particularly interesting this week, but the Topics are up to the usual standard. Cervo:-12 min. in one. Piano accordeonist. Went very nicely. Davigneau's Celestials:-13 min. in 3 Spec. 2 men and 1 woman This is rather a novel act with a nice setting. The Chinese pianist is good and the tenor is a novelty and pleasing. The woman does a little dancing. Closed to a good hand. Alice Hamilton:-11 min. in one Spec. Miss Hamilton has rather a different act from the usual in her character of an old lady from the country, and her songs and talk went over very well. "Heart of Annie Wood":-18 min. F.S. Spec. 3 women 2 men An allegorical musical playlet which does not fit in this bill. Might be acceptable with a personality in the cast. Morton & Glass:-15 min. in 1 and 3 Spec. This act "1920-1950" went well for a repeat. Wilkie Bard:-35 min. in 1 and F.S. Spec. This is Mr. Bard's second week. He is repeating "The Scrubwoman" and it went fully as well as last week. His new sketch "By the Sea" while not quite as uproarous as "The Night Watchman" nevertheless is extremely well done, getting lots of laughs and going well. Mr. & Mrs. Jimmie Barry:-23 min. in 1 Spec. This comedy skit "The Rube" has always been a riot here, but owing to the position following Mr. Bard it did not go with quite its usual zest. Dupree & Dupree:-6 min. F.S. Spec. Man and woman in a very nice bicycle act. Good appearance and makes a good closer. REMARKS;-Rather unsatisfactory show-- over an hour without any real punch, and last four acts practically all repeats.
