PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S APRIL 19th, 20 KINOGRAMS & "TOPICS OF THE DAY" - Pictures good. "Topics" just fair. FRANK & ETHEL CARMEN - A neat opener. A routine of hoop-rolling tricks by a man and woman. (12 mins.) DUNHAM & O'MALLEY - (15 mins.) A man and woman in singing and talking. Did only fair in this position. They have a good song for a finish which got them a hand. BELLECLAIRE BROTHERS - (7 mins.) Remain about thebest of all the hand-to-hand balancing acts and, as usual, was a big applause hit. They have discarded the apparatus, working entirely in 1-1/2, with a series of hand feats all very well done. LAUREL LEE - (14 mins.) A dainty little girl with a new sort of single, well handled and attractively dressed. Has a lot of bright stuff which she delivers cleverly and was very well liked, closing to a very good hand. MAUD EARL & CO. - (21 mins.) We played this act a couple of years ago and it is just about the same now. Miss Earl's singing got over in good shape and the act did very well all the way through, closing to a good hand. HARRY & EMMA SHARROCK - (20 mins.) Repeated as well as ever. It has played here several times and has never failed to score one of the big hits of the bill, which it was to-day, getting a lot of laughs and closing strong. "PUTTING IT OVER" - (30 mins.) Full of "pep" and a big applause winner. The boys work fast and inject a lot of comedy, and gave a speedy performance all the way through. Their dancing is especially good and they finished to a riot of applause, taking four curtains. ALEEN BRONSON - (20 mins.) A very clever comedy and a real novelty that got over splendidly. There is just a touch of sentiment for a finish that fits in nicely and brings the act to a very interesting climax. It is very well played and registered strongly. ENOS FRAZERE - This is positively the most thrilling act we have ever played and was a sensation, even in the closing spot and closed very strong. GENERAL REMARKS - While this bill has no big name as a headliner, the soldier boys show is a novelty that ought to draw and the rest of the show surrounds the feature with a well balanced entertainment. CUTS Laurel Lee - "Bad little girls go to ------ Hotel to see travelling salesmen.
