PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S MAY 3rd, 20 KINOGRAMS & "TOPICS OF THE DAY" - Both fair. MAGEE & ANITA - (11 mins.) A neat dancing turn by a man and woman. Do a variety of stepping and wear some pretty costumes. Did nicely in the opening spot. McMAHON & CHAPPELL - (16 mins.) - The old McMahon & Chappell act with a new man. He has a lot of good material and gets some laughs with it, although he handles it very slow and needs speeding up. TRACEY & MCBRIDE - (22 mins.) - Very good singing turn and a big laugh and applause hit. They have a burlesque finish in eccentric make-up, which was a riot and the act closed strong. MASTERS & KRAFT - (12 mins.) These boys did very well with their comedy dancing. They also do some talking which is only fair. Their dancing, however, is very good and they finished to a big hand. BRONSON & BALDWIN - (24 mins.) - A pretty novelty that registered a big hit for us. It is beautifully staged and dressed and full of snap from start to finish. Entirely away from anything we have played in sometime and was very well liked. Closed to a big hand. LADY TSEN MEI - (14 mins.) The most important spot we have ever given this singer and she held it down in very good shape. She has a number of popular songs and during one number gives a series of imitations, all of which got over very well. A big hit. ELIZABETH BRICE in "The Overseas Revue" - (46 mins.) This act went over big and undoubtedly drew a great many ex-soldiers, who got every bit of song and comedy, especially those pertaining to the soldier's life in France. The whole production in snappy, with some good song numbers, and everything was put over in good shape. A big hit and closed strong. PROSPER & MARET - (8 mins.) Following the big headline feature these boys did very well with their hand-to-hand work. Their tricks are very showy and well handled. The act made a very good closing number. GENERAL REMARKS - The headliner was fully up to expectations and with a lot of comedy and singing at the head of it, furnished a very lively and entertaining bill. They opened very well to a capacity house. CUTS "The Overseas Revue" - Use of the name "Hurley House" or any other hotel. Remark about Elsie Janis's mother and "When you come to America my brother will marry you."
