BOSTON KEITH'S May 17, 0 Kinograms & Topics of the Day:- Good. Johnny Small & Sisters:-13 min. F.S. Spec. Boy and two girls in an attractive setting, offering a singing, talking and dancing skit. Opened the show fairly well. Harry Mayo:-17 min. in 1 Spec. Mayo has a novel singing and talking act, and went over very well.in this spot. Gallagher & Martin:-16 min. in 1 Spec. This couple are doing the same act they used here on former visits and seemed to please. Closed to a fair hand. Daisy Nellis:-15 min. in 1. Miss Nellis is an exceptional pianist and makes a very pretty picture. Her numbers were well received. Frank Wilcox & Co.:-19 min F.S. A good comedy sketch, got lots of laughs and closed to a nice hand. Bailey & Cowan:-19 min. in 1 and 1-1/2 Spec. These boys, with the assistance of Estelle Davis, went over very big. Hallen & Hunter:-21 min. in 1. Although this couple are using about the same material as when seen here last, they got lots of laughs and closed to a big hand. U. S. Jazz Band:-19 min. F.S. These boys are not up to their former standard in neither program or musicianship consequently did not go as well as when seen here last. Samoya:-6 min. F.S. This man does some clever swinging trapeze stunts, and did pretty well closing. CUTS:-Gallagher & Martin: Please eliminate the word "dirty". Johnny Small & Sisters: Please eliminate "Rabbi O'Brien" and "the rabbit's out" refering to the rabbi. Harry Mayo: Please eliminate the words "dirty" and "damn". Hallen & Hunter: Please eliminate reference to "Keith's clothes". REMARKS:- It was necessary to shift this bill considerably for the evening performance owing to the non-appearance of Helen Keller, and substituting the U. S. Jazz Band. The bill now runs as reported.
