PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S May 10th, 20 KINOGRAMS & "TOPICS OF THE DAY" - A fairly good lot. HAZEL MORAN - (7 mins.) Did very nicely in the opening spot with a routine of rope tricks which she handles very well. FRANK & MILT BRITTON - (13 mins.) These boys simply cleaned up in this spot and were forced to enchore twice with their ragtime selections on horns. HARRY HOLMAN & COMPANY - in "My Daughter's Husband" (16 mins.) This act repeated very well for us. It is a very good comedy sketch, well played and got a lot of laughs. Finished to a good hand. BARTRAM & SEXTON - (15 mins.) A very good singing act by two men. Both have excellent voices and they were a big applause hit, getting results with each number and finishing to a big hand. EVELYN NESBIT - (20 mins.) This act was booked in on a disappointment, replacing Helen Keller. She has a new offering in which she uses a variety of material and is assisted by Sammy Weston and Eddie Moran, the latter at the piano. Although she worked under the handicap of being a substitute, without any advance billing, and she did very well. MULLEN & FRANCIS - (16 mins.) Being a local act this couple got a very big reception, but also registered a big applause and laughing hit on their merits. They have a lot of good "nut" material and went over in great shape. "CREOLE FASHION PLATE" - (18 mins.) A real sensation, as he ought to be on any bill. Every number went over great and he was a tremendous hit all the way, closing very strong. ANNA CHANDLER - (22 mins.) Scored the biggest hit she has ever made in this house and really was the applause hit of the show. She has a lot of good songs, puts them over with a wonderful punch and was a real riot from start to finish. Will headline on her next appearance here. MME. RIALTO - (12 mins.) A very pretty dance novelty. Six girls support Mme. Rialto in a series of semi-classical numbers and in the closing spot the act did splendidly, closing to a very good hand. GENERAL REMARKS - Despite the loss of Helen Keller, the headliner, who is ill, this bill turned out to be a great show. Evlyn Nesbit, while only doing fairly well as a substitute, gave the bill a name and the rest of the show did the rest. CUTS ANNA CHANDLER - "My God" in a song. MULLEN & FRANCIS - Reference to undressed woman at the table.
