PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE October 18th 20 KINOGRAMS & "TOPICS OF THE DAY" - Very good. EL BART BROS. - (8 mins.) Two men in a hand-balancing act. Their work is cleanly done and they did very well in the opening spot. THE ROSELLAS - (13 mins.) Novel musical act by a man and woman. The man works in a comedy make-up, plays several musical instruments and the woman accompanies him on a harp. Did very well, closing to a good hand. TRAVERS & DOUGLAS - (19 mins.) A very good light comedy sketch with three people. It has a lot of bright lines, comedy is well played and got a lot of laughs. Closed to a good hand. BILLY GLASON - (17 mins.) This boy was a big hit. His material has plenty of snap to it, he has several good songs and gets all his material over in very good shape. Closed very strong. EDDIE BORDEN "ON FIFTH AVENUE" - While this act did not give as smooth a performance as it will after one or two shows it went over in great shape, being a big applause winner. It contains plenty of laughs, lots of action and as a flash, the act compares with some of the best we have ever played. At the finish took several curtains and Borden several extra bows. (46 mins.) GRACE NELSON - (12 mins.) A very high class singing act that fitted in splendidly with the show and gave the lovers of vocal music a real treat. She was a big applause hit, each of her numbers scoring. Closed strong. GIBSON & CONNELLI in "The Honeymoon" - (23 mins.) One of the very best comedy sketches in vaudeville. This is its third time here and it was just as big a hit as ever. SANTLEY & NORTON -(14 mins.) Owing to the non-arrival of their baggage these boys worked in street clothes but they were a big applause hit, and held the next to closing spot in a thoroughly satisfactory manner. They have a lot of new songs and got a lot out of them. Closed strong. "BEGINNING OF THE WORLD" - (9 mins.) A novelty and a very good closing number.for this show. GENERAL REMARKS - One of the best playing shows we have had in some time and a great hit from start to finish. Opened to capacity and ought to give us a big week on its merits alone. CUTS TRAVERS & DOUGLAS -"Hell of a time." BILLY GLASON - Be careful about thumbing nose in dance. EDDIE BORDEN - "It's A Hell of a ride."
