PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S NOVEMBER 15th, 20 KINOGRAMS & "TOPICS" - Both very good. ELSIE LA BERGERE - (7 mins.) Very pretty posing act in which two dogs are featured. It is a novelty and did splendidly in this spot. ROME & WAGER - (15 mins.) A man and woman with good voices. Singing carries them through to a good size hit. They also have some talk, of light character, but can easily get by on their songs. McWATTERS & TYSON - (21 mins.) First appearance of this couple in several years and they were warmly received. Their act consists of travesty bits and songs, getting plenty of laughs and finishing to a very good hand. CHARLES IRWIN - With a lot of new material he still is a very classy single. Offering consists of stories, some chatter and two or three bits of poetry. He delivers all of his stuff in a polished manner and was a good sized applause hit. (21 mins.) ETHEL HOPKINS - (14 mins.) Singing three classy numbers she was liberally applauded for each and closed to a very good hand. Was in excellent voice and made a very attractive appearance. GEORGE JESSEL'S "Troubles of 1920" (50 mins.) - As a revue this act gives vaudeville something that is entirely different from what we have been playing and it scored solidly from start to finish. Mr. Jessel works hard all through the show, gets plenty of laughs with his comedy, and his numbers are all well done. It is a novelty that will be appreciated, following all the other musical attractions we have shown recently. HARRY & ANNA SEYMOUR - (16 mins.) This act repeated very well for us. They are using about the same line of material, freshened up in spots and Miss Seymour's handling of her comedy bits got the act over in fine shape. BURT & FLORENCE MAYO - (7 mins.) A very good routine of tricks on swinging trapeze by a man and woman. Handle all their tricks cleverly and in the closing spot they did very well. GENERAL REMARKS - This show played very well from start to finish and seemed to please the usual capacity audience at the opening matinee. CUTS "Topics of the Day" - The words "My God" in one of the paragraphs.
