REPORT OF BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I., Thursday, Friday and Saturday, December 16, 17 and 18. SINGHI--- Chinese Musical Novelty. This man makes-up as a Chinese and plays freak novel instruments. Special set in one. Got a few laughs thro act and a good hand at finish. 12 min. DEBORAH & ZEMATER--- "The Flying Minstrels." Two men in a comedy, black-face aerial novely. Work on the bars. Make-up--one as a old man the other as young man. Received laughs and also hands thro act--finish with a good hand. 8 min. JOE COOPER & MAYME LACY--- In "Dancing Moments." Youthful couple in a singing and dancing specialty. Change in costumes. woman imitates several "crack" dancers. This act went rather weak--very light hand. 9 min. in one. JACK KENNEDY & CO.--- Two men and two women. In a "Golf Proposal." A Comedy of the Links. This act is set on the golf links and is full of funny sayings and actions all thro. It went over big with the audience--full of laughs all thro the act and a good hand at the finish. Special drop; 25 min. [Signature: A. S. Watson] Scenic Report on the Scenic show Dec 13th, 1920 Devorah & Zamater. Horizontal Bar Act (Blackface) good act, went very good. 8 min, spec drop in 3. Cooper & Lacy. A good dancing number. 10 min in 1. Marie Sparrow. Just nonsense. A comedy act that cleaned up the show without having to resort to smut to do so. One of the biggest hits here this season. 11 min in 1. Jack Kennedy & Co. A golf Proposal. A good comedy skit that went very good. 22 min in spec scene in 4. 22 min. A very good show. Reddy
