REPORT OF Bijou Theatre, Woonsocket, R. I., Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 7, 8 and 9. VICTORIA--- Premiere Danseuse Classique. Dances four numbers--very classy. Change of costume for each number--carry two drops. Went poor both afternoon and evening. Her act is all right but is not suitable for this place--don't like this kind of dancing. 10 min. full. JAMES REGAN & CO.--- In Irish Melodys. Two men; one at piano, the other does the singing, with a little talking thrown in. Sings several Irish songs--Received very few laughs through act, a fair hand at finish. 12 min. in one. THE NIKKO TRIO--- In a Beautiful Japanese Novelty. Two men and a woman; do stunts on the pole, turn hand-springs, contortion, and "The Contest" on a racing machine. Received many laughs and hands during act and at finish a big hand. 12 min. CARSON & WILLARD--- In "Something Different"--Two men. This is surely something different in vaudeville. They had a good line of talk on the topics of the present day and a way of their own of putting it over that went big with the audience. They closed with a couple of songs and received a big hand. 18 min in one. [Signature: A. S. Watson] Report on the Scenic show March 28th. 1921 Australians Deslos. Gymnastic & Trapeze. Open with a song in one then go to the Trapeze, They do a clever little act that went good this afternoon. 7 min in 3. York & King. From Arkansas. A character Singing, Talking & Dancing number that went very good. Special drop in 1 16 min Violet Carlson. The Mite-Y Commedienne. A Little Young Woman with a very big voice, and a very good one, does several imitations that went big. a good act. 12 min in 1. 4 Jacks & A Queen. A very good Quintette. All have good voices, and there is not a dull moment in the whole act. Went verg good. Work in & C.D.F. 15 min. It is a long time sinse I have seen a show go as good as this one did this afternoon Reddy
