REPOTR OF BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I., Monday Tuesday and Wednesday, April 18, 19 and 20. SCAMP & SCAMP--- Eccentric Comedians. Two men. Comedy bar act. Received a number of hands and laughs thro act and at finish a good hand. 8 min. full. POLLARD SISTERS--- In Class and Comedy. Singing and dancing act. Change of costumes, very classy in dress. In the finish one dresses as a boy of the Bowery the other a girl of the Bowery--sing and dance This act went rather weak--only a light hand at finish. MUSICAL LUNDS--- Masters of the Xylophone. Two men and two women. They play several selections on brass instruments and close with the four on the xylophone. This act received plenty of hands thro their act and at the finish a big hand. GENTLEMAN JACK O'BRIEN--- I think most of the people were disappointed in this act--they were looking for something different--something on the fighting line. His monologue was all O'Brien principally, but at the finish he gave a recitation. The name of O'Brien was the only thing that saved him. I would say that he went only fair. [Initials: A. S. W.]
