PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S JUNE 13th, 1921 PATHE & "TOPICS" - Pictures very good. "Topics" fair average. BILL CRUTCHFIELD - (10 mins.) - Has some very good tricks with a rope and handled along the style of Will Rogers. His talk is only fair. Did very well as an opener. HOBSON & BEATTY -(15 mins.) A rather classy singing turn by two girls with light voices of good quality. They have a program of popular numbers and finish with a piano duet, showing themselves good musicians. Very well received, closing strong. MR. HYMACK - (9 mins.) He has elaborated on his transformation of several years ago and it is a bigger novelty than ever. Being the only act of its kind helps it considerably and he was very well received. DAVE ROTH - (15 mins.) A local boy who got a great welcome here, doing about the same act he gave us last season and putting it over on its merits. SOLLY WARD & COMPANY - (26 mins.) This sketch first showed here last season and was a big laughing hit. It was just as big this time, keeping the house in a roar of laughter and closing strong. BARTRAM & SEXTION - (14 mins.) One of the very best male singing turns in vaudeville and a sure-fire hit. They went over big for us, closing strong. SANTLEY & SAWYER - (31 mins.) A beautiful production and one that ought to make patrons of vaudeville talk. Probably the most elaborate of the revues this clever pair of artists have given vaudeville and their efforts were warmly appreciated. They closed very strong. AVEY & O'NEILL - (11 mins.) The dancing finish helped put these boys over to a good sized hit. Up to the time they started dancing, however, they got very little with their comedy talk. THE DE LYONS - (5 mins.) Two men in a routine of hand balancing feats. The act is nicely staged, they work cleanly and made a very good closing number. GENERAL REMARKS - Against very hot weather the show played very satisfactorily, the headline feature holding up fine and the rest of the bill working smoothly around it. CUT BILL CRUTCHFIELD - The word "Hell" HOBSON & BEATTY - The word "Dirty" and using the name "Packard" AVEY & O'NEILL - The words "Devil" and "Nigger."
