PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S JULY 4th, 1 PATHE NEWS & "TOPICS OF THE DAY" - Picture & Topics good. KARA - (13 mins.) An old-timer but a very good juggling act and did exceedingly well in the opening spot. BOYLE & BENNETT - (10 mins.) A man and woman in songs and dances. Singing only fair but both are good steppers and got by nicely on their eccentric work. WROE'S BUDS OF 1921 - (13 mins.) Annual presentation of the local favorites. Series of dances by children and as usual it furnished us with a very good summer attraction. SIGNOR FRISCOE - (27 mins.) The use of some very good comedy handled by several "plants" in the audience made this act a big laughing hit and his Xylophone numbers brought him the usual big returns. Finished very strong. DILLON & PARKER - (21 mins.) These people have certainly advanced considerably in their present offering and how have a production that will compare with any others of its class. Good songs, good music and all the material well handled. A piano player and girl violinist are also used. A substantial hit. KANE & HERMAN - (20 mins.) These boys did very well with their comedy talk and songs. Their stuff is away from other acts of this kind and the novelty helped to get them over. FLORENCE MOORE - (20 mins.) After opening to a very good reception she scored solidly with her mixture of comedy and song. It is probably the best act she has ever offered alone and she was liberally rewarded. Much of her material is new but she is retaining the best of her old hits. SIX BROWN BROS. - (14 mins.) A big applause hit as it should be anywhere. Music is first class and the handling of the comedy makes it an ideal musical number for any bill. WILSON-AUBREY TRIO - (8 mins.) After a good routine of horizontal bar tricks these men finished with a very good laughing comedy bit in one. AESOP'S FABLES - (6 mins.) The second series of these cartoons while not quiet as good as the first held the majority of the audience and proved very interesting. GENERAL REMARKS - A great show that went over fine and with any kind of a fair break on weather conditions ought to do a big week.
