Boston Keith's July 11, 1921 Pathe News: Good Topics of the Day: Good Bud & Jack Pearson: 10 min in 1 These boys can certainly dance and made a great opener. Chas Hayden & Co: 17 min full stage spec. A dandy comedy sketch, got lots of laughs and closed to a big hand. Chas Olcott & Mary Ann: 27 min in 1 spec. This man has always been a hit here working alone. The lady in the act sings Olcott's own song compositions and they did nicely. Nati Bilbainita: 16 min full stage spec. This girl is one of the greatest Spanish dancer we have ever played and was a triumph in this spot. Fred Allen: 23 min in 1 Eccentric comedian and a big laugh. Cecil Lean & Cleo Mayfield: 27 min full stage This is the best act Lean & Mayfield have ever given us here in Boston and they went over very good. Bert. & Betty Wheeler: 20 min in 1 A hard spot for this couple but they held it finely and closed to a good hand. Burns Brothers: 6 min in 2 Neat hand balancing act, did well closing. REMARKS: Show reported as it ran Monday Night. CUTS: The Pearsons: Please eliminate "God save the King" gag. Fred Allen: Please eliminate reference to "Didies", "what the Devil" and mention of local theatres, politicians, hotels and members of the management of this theatre The Wheelers: Please eliminate the words "Hell" and Damn" from your act and do not refer to the management in your speech. Chas Olcott: Please eliminate "Womans perogative" gag and do not slap young woman on bare back or call undue attention to same. Lean & Mayfield: Please eliminate the word "Hell" from your song.
