36 TEMPLE THEATRE, DETROIT, MICHIGAN. Week of Apr. 11, 1904. DeVELDE & ZELDA: Man and woman. An equilibrist and gymnast act. Excellent opening act. 13 mins. F. S. Avery & HART: Two colored men in a very good talking and singing act. 18 mins. Can open and close in one. ROBERTUS & WILFREDO: Manipulators of rubber balls. Father & son. The act is an excellent novelty act and good for any place on the bill. 10 mins F S VIOLET DALE: In singing and mimicry. This act is not up to the standard. 11 mins. in one. AUBREY BOUCICAULT & CO.: Boucicault assisted by William Philp, Tenor, ad [and] Bert Merkin, basso, in a revamped version of Sir Arthur Sullivan's operetta, "Cox & Box" This operetta in its present form will not do for vaudeville, and we would not advise the string of it at any price. 30 mins. F S. JAMES J. MORTON: This monologist went very strong, with our audiences as he has always done in the past. 17 min. in one. FREDERICK BOND & CO: Two men and two women in the farce "My Awful Dad". This very clever farce and exceptionally well acted. 25 mins. F. S. HARRY HOWARD'S COMEDY PONIES & DOGS: This is one of the best animal acts that we play. 17 mins.
