93 Palfrey and Hilton, 2 shows, 13 min. full stage -- Trick and comedy bicycle riding by two skilful young men. This sort of thing always goes well here, and although a large number of the at no time large audience had melted away during the preceding performer's act, the bicyclists managed to make good. Biograph, 3 shows, 20 min. in 1 -- Interesting and amusing collection of motion pictures, the best being the college games recently held at Philadelphia. Clifford and Hale, 3 shows, 12 min. in 1 -- Two young women who have been appearing about Boston quite frequently recently in amateur and other entertainments. They sing and dance about as well as the average of "sister" acts, and make several changes of costume. All right for the 3-show section. Delmar and Rose, 3 shows, 12 min. full stage -- This act was formerly known as the Delmar trio. One of the men does some remarkable jumping in and out of barrels, while his partner is a comedy acrobatic contortionist. It is a good act from any standpoint, and is simply buried where I am obliged to place it this week. Mr. and Mrs. James E. Cooper, 3 shows, 13 min. in 1 -- This is a crazy conversational sketch, along the lines made famous by Morton and Ravelle, years ago, and is not nearly so clever. The woman is a decided handicap to the man, who might do better things if he worked alone a la Morton. Comment. -- Show as a whole almost equal to anything we offer in the winter season. The extremely hot weather prevented people from coming in in any number today but as it cools off we will surely do a big business.
