New York Show--Week of July 2, 1904--2. HARRY DAVENPORT YRR 2--Singing the same two songs that he sang on his previous visit and making the same impression that he did then. He is an artist beyond question and with the right audience always goes big, the afternoon audiences not understanding him quite as well. YRR 2 HOCH, ELTON & CO. One man and two women in a comedy sketch entitled "Mlle. Ricci," built on the same lines about as Clayton White's "Dickey," that is to say, the them is reminiscent of the White act. It is, of course, not as good as the latter, but still they got lots of laughs this afternoon. 21 minutes full stage. YYh 2 SMITH & CAMPBELL--This is the second week of these two performers since they became reunited. Naturally their material does not dove-tail together so well as it will later one, but they were very cordially received and managed to extract a great deal of laughter from the audience very late on the bill. 22 minutes in one. BROS. LA NOLE.-- NH 3. -- Comedy revolving ladder act, one made up straight and the other as a clown. The act is about the same caliber as all the turns of this kind. 12 minutes, full stage. HR 3 BIOGRAPH.-- They gave us an exceptionally good reel of films this week, the feature being a long film showing the movements of the Russian troops in Manchuria, which was very interesting indeed. 20 minutes in one. S. K. HODGDON.
