TEMPLE THEATER, DETROIT, JULY 11., 1904. WOOD BROTHERS AN Excellent acrobatic and strong-arm act on the flying rings. 8 min. F. S. JULIUS TANNEN Story teller and imitator. He is not above the ordinary and [i]s not a hit here. 18 in one. CLARK AND FLORETTE Young man and woman in a singing and dancing act. This is good little act and will do to open a show. 12 min one. "THE RAT:" A FARCE- BY HAROLD HEATON & CO. This is about the limit. The wonder is that it got so far west. [No]t good at any price. About 18 minutes but it seems longer. MISS CECILLE BERRYMAN Miss Berryman is making her first appearance. She has a fine [sta]ge presence and an excellent soprano voice. When she learns to walk [on] and off the stage she will do very well. FRED MACART'S DOG AND MONKEY CIRCUS WHILE the dogs and monkeys perform no wonderful tricks there [are] plenty of laughs in the act and it is particularly enjoyed by the [lit]tle folks. 18 min. RAY L. ROYCE Perhaps the greatest character artist and monologist in vau[devi]le. He went with a scream. 18 min in one. THE FLYING RATHBUNS Two men and a youth in a casting act of considerable merit. 8 min. F. S.
