215 TEMPLE THEATRE, DETROIT, MICHIGAN Week of Nov. 7th, 1904. 3 JACKSONS: two men and a woman in a bag punching and athletic act. They have a novel apparatus on tight wire and for an opening act go exceedingly good. 12 mins. F. S. MATTHEWS & ASHLEY: Two men appearing here for the first time. Went strong with the audience. They have some good parodies. On the whole they are quite satisfactory. 19 mins. in one. LAVINE CIMERON TRIO: This act is on the European order. Two men and a woman in a refined comedy dancing act. Go quite strong. 10 mins. F. S. Grand Opera Trio: Two men and a woman who received almost an ovation presenting "Scene from Faust". Edith Decker the Soprano has a marvelous voice of high range and sweetness and under absolute control. 11 mins F S JOHN [E.?] CAMP: This monologist went very good with audience, we do not know the reason why. 12 mins. one. HENRY LEE: Mr. Lee met with the hit of career this being election week, his impersonation of Roosevelt was most enthusiastically received. All his impersonations were as he bills them "speaking likenesses." 22 mins. F. S. MUSICAL AVOLOS: Two women and two men making their initial appearance. Were received enthusiastically and their xylophone playing shows they are excellent musicians on that kind of an instrument. 10 mins. in one. FOUR DUNBARS Comedy casting act. This act is similar to all casting acts and does very well for a closing act. 11 mins F. S.
