Chases's Theatre ---- Washington, D.C. Week Sept. 21. OWLEY AND RANDALL..........A splendid exhibition of novelty juggling very cleverly interspersed with good comedy. Went fine and could fill any place on any bill. Full stage. Can close in one. LEROY STUART..................The Hoosier Philosophser. This act is a disappointment and we will omit it from bill the balance of the week. All in one. A. C. DUNCAN...............Ventriloquial comedian. Replete with current copics and his ability to draw fun therefrom is unescelled. Full stage closing in one. THE THREE AVOLOS........ Acrobatic work on perpendicular bars. A very considerable novelty and is only a little short of being a great act. Full stage. INTERMISSION. MARY NORMAN.........Her art lies in the portrayal of girl types and she is entitled to the highest praise. Her studies are presented with accuracy and refined humor. Full stage. HAL STEPHENS AND CO........ Impersorations of well known stage characters finishing in scenes from "Rip Van Winkle". Good. Opens in one, closing full stage. BILLY LINK............... Newspaper critics this morning declare him to be the favorite of the bill and I guess they are right. His jokes are good, topical songs timely and his manner decidedly humorous. All in one. DELMORE AND LEE............. Gymnasts of unusual attainments. The act is spectacular and daring feats are performed with precision and grace. Full stage. H. Winnifred DeWitt.
