86 TEMPLE THEATRE, DETROIT, MICHIGAN. Week of Nov. 23, 1903 ALBANO TROUPE: Four women and one man, in a straight musical act. Quiet act. Not going very strong here, 16 mins. F.S. 1 1/2 mins in one. CALLAHAN & MACK: In their same sketch "The Old Neighborhood". Very good Irish character act. Always goes big with our audience. 20 mins. F. S. GERTRUDE HOFFMAN & ETTA PEARCE: Songs and dances. Make good appearance. They do not possess very good voices, but their dancing carries them through. Good act in one. 9 mins. CHAS. PRELLE: with his talking dogs. Prelle is a ventriloquist, and the dogs are made up with papier-mache heads to represent dummies. Some of the dogs represent small ponies. The dummy heads have movable jaws which gives them the appearance of talking. It is quite a novelty, and is going very good here. 12 mins. F. S. BROTHERS SILVAS: Sensational balancing act upon unsupported ladders. It is the best act of the kind that has ever played here. Is going very big and create quite a good deal of talk. 12 mins. F.S. LOUISE BREHANEY: Vocalist. She has new songs this time and is going much stronger this time than she ever did before. 13 mins. in one. WERNER AMOROS TROUPE: In a pantomime act, which introduces nothing new. Act goes fairly well with the audience, especially the rough house finish. Creating considerable laughter. 19 mins. F. S. HARPER, DESMOND & BAILEY: Regulation coon songs and dances. Are going very big with the audience. 13 mins. in one. FOUR LUKENS: Without doubt the greatest casting act on the stage. Is going very good here, and closing the show they hold the audience to the finish. 9 mins. F. S.
