CRITICISM OF SHOW.
KEITH'S NEW THEATRE,PHILA.
NOV. 30TH

Mooney & Holbein-12 mins.-Gar. in 2-Man and woman,instrumental music, singing and wooden shoe dancing. Man attempts a "little" poor comedy. Act got by all right as an opener. Cut out "[you?] fool."

Al. Coleman-12 mins.  in one-Mimic and comedian; [illegible] with some good stories, which went well; a good act for the early bill.

John Le Clair-[18?] mins.-Gar. in 2-close in one-In his old juggling act, with a few new tricks. Some of his work was [illegible][illegible]. The act proved to be a real entertainer.

Mr. & Mrs. Harry Thorne-20 mins.-C.D.F. in 3-In their old sketch "An Uptown Flat." Regardless of age it seemed to please as well as if it had been a real novelty. Always gets the laughs.

Ford & Wilson-15 mins.-C.D.F. in 2-close in one-Two men (formerly Ford and Cantrell),in a [illegible] blackface singing and dancing act, with some cross-fire talk;make two changes of costume: They insisted on a C.D. set, but they could be made to work in one. It's a three-a-day act but can be classed as a good one. Cut: "Your wife is a nasty [?..esss?]."

Earl & Wilson-18 mins.-C.D.F. in 2-close in one-Man and woman in a musical act, the woman working grotesque. They introduce quite a bit of talking and singing. The act received some applause and many laughs at the parodies. Made good in its place.

Poettinger's Swedish Ladies' Quintette-15 mins.-Spec. Set in 3-close in one-Five Swedish girls, singing in their native language; carry a special set. The act was well received by a cold audience,most of the [nymbers?] being liberally applauded. The act will go better to-night, as it is new,and a novelty.

Mr. & Mrs. Alfred Kelcy-18 mins.-C.D.F. in 3,divided-In a comedy sketch, "Uncle Phineas;" first time here; a very good act;received ripples of laughter from start to finish, and ended very strong; a might good act.

Josephine Gassman & Picks.-12 mins. in one-She dresses the picks. better; dresses better herself; has better material; and in every way has improved the act since last here. The act was a laughing hit to-day and received continued applause.

Marcel's Art Studies-20 mins.-Spec. Set-A change of subjects from last week;fully as strong as last week.

[Jas?]. F. MacDonald-15 mins. in one-Singing and stories. The best thing he did was a coon song "All the While." In fact, his singing is the only thing that gets him by. His stories are not above par, with one exception, and as a monologuist he should be doing three-a-day. He's on too late at four.

Girard & Gardner-20 mins.-C.D.F in 3-"The Soubrette and the Cop." More comedy, and might good comedy at that. The audience applauded the sketch as if it was brand new. Girard has lost none of his cleverness and is acpable of getting the most out of any act. Third time here.

Tottie Gladstone-[1?] mins. in one-More laughs. She has greatly improved since last here--when she was almost a frost. The laugh she springs is sure to get some woman in the audience "off" and the audience pays as much attention to the [front?] laugh in the audience as the one on the stage.
