128 NEW YORK SHOW--WEEK OF DECEMBER 28th.--2. ADOLPH ZINK.--The Lilliputian comedian and change artist. He does the same act which he gave us before consisting of character changes and songs, the novelty of which is the showing of the performer in his dressing room in the act of making the change with the aid of a moving picture machine. The act has been mellowed by constant presentation and runs more smoothly than it did on its first appearance here. As a novelty it is all right. 21 minutes in one. GHR 2--MURPHY & NICHOLS.-- A man and a woman in a comedy sketch entitled "The Bifurcated Girl." They had a very strong place on the bill this afternoon, but they took the audience with them from their first entrance and made a decided hit. 24 minutes, full stage. GRR -3--BILLY LINK.--Black faced comedian. He had a lot of new material and although he got on at a time when the audience were commencing to think of going out, as soon as he got their attention he held them very well indeed, and closed quite strong. He should not be on a too heavy place on the bill. something about 2:30 and 8:00 would be just about right for him. 14 minutes in one. MHR -2-- JOHN CRAIG & CO.-- In a sketch entitled "The Doctor." I don't think there has been a much better actor on our stage for years than Mr. Craig, and he has very good support indeed in the other gentleman and his wife, Miss Young. It is a legitimate act pure and simple, and in a bill filled with strong vaudeville would have to be on a little earlier than I had him placed this afternoon. His natural place would be about 3 o'clock in the afternoon and about 8:30 at night, but in spite of the handicap of not getting on till 4 o'clock, he held the audience closely until the end, and I really consider it as good and satisfactory and drawing sketch as we have played in many a day. He can hardly fail to make good all over the circuit. 22 minutes, full stage. YRR -2- 3 CRANE BROS.-- This act is composed of the two Crane boys and Belmont, as of old, and they do the same act pretty nearly that they have done heretofore, but it was a screaming hit this afternoon. 19 minutes in one. YRR 2--WILTON BROS.-- Comedy bar act, using the bounding rubber bed. It is the best act of the kind that has ever been in the house and closed the show in great shape. 7 minutes in one. HR -3- BIOGRAPH.--Presenting a long film this week entitled "Alice in Wonderland," which considering the fact that it is a Holiday for the schools and that the film is especially appropriate for children, I anticipate will make a great hit during the week. 18 minutes in one. S. K. HODGDON.
